Privacy & data use
Privacy Policy
Effective August 8, 2026
Overview
BudgetPilot provides account-level budget oversight for Google Ads accounts that a user explicitly authorizes. This Privacy Policy explains what information BudgetPilot accesses, why it is used, how it is protected, and the choices available to users.
Information we access
When you connect a Google Ads account, BudgetPilot may access the minimum information needed to provide its budgeting features, including:
- Google Ads account identifiers and basic account information;
- account-level budget configurations;
- advertising cost and spend information used for budget monitoring; and
- OAuth authorization information required to maintain the connection you approve.
BudgetPilot does not use Google Ads API access to create or modify campaigns, advertisements, keywords, bids, audiences, remarketing lists, or conversion tracking.
How we use Google user data
Google user data is used only to provide and improve the user-facing BudgetPilot features you request: displaying account-level spend, showing budget status, and managing authorized account-level budget configurations. We do not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, credit decisions, or training generalized artificial intelligence models.
Sharing and disclosure
BudgetPilot does not sell Google user data or personal information. We do not transfer Google user data to advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers. Data may be processed by service providers acting on our behalf only when necessary to operate and secure BudgetPilot, under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations. We may also disclose information when required by applicable law or to investigate abuse and protect the security of the service.
Storage, security, and retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Authorization credentials are restricted to the systems that require them to provide the service.
We retain connected-account information only for as long as needed to provide BudgetPilot, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. When an account is disconnected or deletion is requested, associated authorization credentials are deleted or invalidated, and other account data is deleted or anonymized unless retention is legally required.
Your choices and control
You can revoke BudgetPilot’s access at any time through your Google Account permissions. You may also request access to or deletion of information associated with your BudgetPilot use by contacting us. Revoking access stops future collection from the connected Google account, though limited records may be retained where required for security or legal compliance.
Google API Services User Data Policy
BudgetPilot’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Children’s privacy
BudgetPilot is a business service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the service, legal requirements, or data practices. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
